Week 3...

Zachary is really settling in here. He is getting used to the family routine and is improving on his house manners. He did have 1 accident in the house this week. We continue to accommodate Zachary by letting him out every 2 - 3 hours while we are home. When we leave, he is crated. My wonderful husband works from home during the week, so that has allowed Zachary to have access to the yard frequently.

We have begun to practice NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free), since we use this technique with our own dogs. Zachary has done well this week learning that he needs to follow the rules before getting anything.
